How to become an approved Qualification Centre

The approval process begins by completing our Expression of Interest form.

What happens next?

Once we receive your Expression of Interest, a member of our team will contact you to discuss your interest in delivering CIWM (WAMITAB) Qualifications.

You will then be invited to complete a Centre Application Form and submit it, together with the required supporting documentation, for review.

Following a successful review of your application and payment of the approval fee, a CIWM (WAMITAB) External Quality Assurer (EQA) will be assigned to your Centre. Your EQA will arrange a Centre Approval Visit to confirm that your organisation meets our approval criteria and is ready to deliver qualifications to the required standards.

Once the EQA has confirmed that all approval requirements have been met, and the Service Level Agreement has been signed by both parties, your organisation will become an approved CIWM (WAMITAB) Qualification Centre and can begin delivering our qualifications.

Use of Languages

CIWM is committed to making its qualifications as accessible as possible while maintaining assessment standards.

Our Use of Languages Policy explains how approved centres can receive and assess learner work in languages other than English. It also includes our Welsh-medium policy statement, meeting the requirements of Qualifications Wales Condition D9 of the Standard Conditions of Recognition.
