CIWM (WAMITAB) Whistle-blowing Policy

Whistle-blowing encourages and enables individuals to raise serious concerns with CIWM rather than overlooking a problem or 'blowing the whistle' outside. CIWM is committed to the highest possible standards of openness, honesty and integrity for the benefit of its approved Centres, learners and the public at large.

This policy aims to:

  • Encourage CIWM learners and approved Centre staff to report wrongdoings, in the knowledge that their concerns will be taken seriously and investigated as appropriate, and that their confidentiality will be respected.

  • Make guidance available to those who wish to report wrongdoing.

All concerns will be treated in confidence, and every effort will be made not to reveal your identity if you so wish. At the appropriate time, however, you may need to come forward as a witness.

Please contact us at info.admin@ciwm.co.uk for more information or to raise a concern.
