Our Early Careers Team
Championing and supporting those early in their career
At CIWM, we know that the future of the resources and waste sector is being shaped today by individuals at all stages of their career journey. The Early Careers Team (ECT) is our dedicated group that represents and champions professionals with fewer than 10 years’ work experience, regardless of age or background. The Early Careers Team members are selected through a formal application and interview process held annually.
The Early Careers Team demonstrates CIWM’s commitment to amplifying diverse voices and advancing its EDI strategy. Team members collaborate closely with existing CIWM groups pursuing similar objectives, including the Professional Development Network and the Skills for the Future group.
Whether you are joining the industry straight from school or college, graduating, apprenticing, switching careers, or looking for support in how to advance within the industry, the ECT ensures you are represented and your voice is heard.
