About this regulated qualification
This qualification is part of the CIWM (WAMITAB) Operator Competence Scheme. It provides technically competent managers (TCMs) with the knowledge and skills to ensure non-hazardous treatment operations to produce soil comply with relevant regulations.
Assessment is carried out in the workplace through a portfolio of evidence, demonstrating competence in:

- Minimising environmental impact
- Managing transfer and disposal from non-hazardous waste treatment and recovery operations
