Welcome to CIWM Resource Conference Cymru 2016
Wales Millennium Centre, Cardiff Bay, 9 March 2016
The CIWM Welsh conference will be the UK’s first major conference exploring the new EU circular economy package. With a focus on clarifying the package and targets, exploring what these mean to us in practical terms and revealing real-life solutions and best practice, hear first-hand from EU speakers just a few weeks after their package is launched.
The EU’s Circular Economy package was published on 2 December 2015 and will affect all businesses and public sector and 3rd sector organisations – bringing new and tougher targets, new responsibilities and new opportunities. The changes will be hard work and can’t be avoided but they can be anticipated and managed.
Discover how the Welsh government has anticipated the package and what we will have to do differently and learn from people who are already turning Circular Economy thinking into Circular Economy action.
‘The timing and scope of the EU Circular Economy Package at the end of 2015 make this the most important conference CIWM have delivered in Wales’.
Steve Lee, CIWM CEO
