“Best Student Award” Sees Free Graduate Membership For Students

A years’ free Graduate membership has been awarded to three students as part of a CIWM sponsored award that aims to help University graduates begin their career in resource management.

For each of CIWM’s accredited University courses, CIWM awards an annual sponsored “CIWM Best Student Award” with a year’s free Graduate membership as the prize.   The winner is chosen by the University from varying criteria, such as “most improved”, or “most consistent achiever”. CIWM then presents an award certificate and membership prize voucher at Graduation day prize-giving ceremonies.

As part of their Graduate membership, the winners receive career support from CIWM as they take their first steps into sector as a University graduate.

This year so far, CIWM has presented prizes to:

  • Peter James McCafferty – CIWM Best Student Award MSc/PgD Waste and Resource Management Course 2017, University of West of Scotland.
  • Dilip Raj Gurung – CIWM Best Student Award – MSc Waste and Resource Management Course, Cranfield.
  • Esther Sidibe – CIWM Best Student Award, Energy from Waste MSc, Cranfield.
