This is an opportunity to have an
in-depth examination of the Beddington Energy Recovery Facility, the key to the
South London Waste Partnership’s (SLWP, comprising: Croydon, Kingston upon
Thames, Merton and Sutton) residual waste strategy. The site visit will be
preceded by an introductory series of presentations from specialists who have
been involved with the planning and development of this facility and other energy
recovery plants.
