Hazardous Waste Classification and Coding - Virtual Training


Overview

This comprehensive virtual training programme will enable you to develop the skills you need to correctly classify the different types of hazardous waste and ensure that you are up to date with the very latest guidance. The programme is based on guidance developed by all four UK waste regulators and is therefore suitable for anyone in the four nations of the UK

What’s in it for me?
By the end of this programme participants will be able to:

  • Have a working knowledge of the legislation and guidance governing the coding and classification of hazardous wastes, including the latest WM3 guidance
  • Be able to use the relevant data sources to classify hazardous waste
  • Understand what you need to assess Persistent Organic Pollutants (POPs)
  • Understand how and when to use the hazard classes, categories and statement codes.
