If local authorities want to transition to a circular economy, resident buy-in will be essential. Over the course of the BLUEPRINT to a Circular Economy Project, 78000 people will be engaged and challenged to reduce the amount of waste they produce and embrace circular economy principles in their own homes. This will be achieved through a variety of behaviour change pilots led by our local authority partners, and it will identify the most successful ways in which to engage with residents.
