Waste and Environmental themed charity quiz – raising money for WasteAid UK
Date: Friday 17th July 2020 from 16:30 to 18:00
A fun social event for CIWM South West Centre members, organised by the NMNs on behalf of the SW Centre Council, to participate in a waste and environmental themed quiz, raising money for WasteAid UK.
The event is open to all members and guests. To take part, all you have to do is… sign up via the CIWM website and pay the £5 quiz entry fee which will go to WasteAid UK.
On the day, members will be randomly split into four teams:
- Eat, Sleep, Recycle
- Reuse it or lose it.
- Reuse old news!
- Recycling Rocks
There will be six question rounds and five questions per round. Teams can choose one question round to play their wildcard and double their score.
Test your waste and environmental knowledge, get to know other CIWM South West Members, raise money for charity and most importantly, have fun!
Venue: Online via Zoom. A link to join the event will be emailed to you once you have registered and paid the quiz entry fee (for WasteAid UK charity).
Programme:
The Quiz Master/Chair will be Stephanie Rooke (Peninsula and West of England, NMN) with a facilitator for each of the four teams: Iain Stevens (Peninsula NMN), Stephanie Rooke, Sarah Ottaway (West of England NMN and SW Centre Councillor) and Hannah Lawrie (SW Centre Chair).
