CIWM Welcomes Catherine David As New CEO at WRAP
CIWM extends its congratulations to Catherine David on her appointment to Chief Executive Officer at WRAP, announced today (15 May 2025). Currently WRAP's Director for Behaviour Change & Business Programmes, Catherine will begin the new role from 1 June 2025.
Dan Cooke, Director of Policy, Communications and External Affairs at CIWM, says: “Congratulations and a warm welcome to Catherine in this key role for our sector. WRAP will continue to help business, local authorities and households navigate the major changes, challenges and opportunities ahead for our sector at this pivotal time. CIWM and its members look forward to collaborating closely as we all continue to move towards more circular living and a world beyond waste.”
This appointment comes at a crucial juncture for the resource and waste management sector, with an increasing emphasis on driving circular economy principles, increasing resource efficiency, and achieving ambitious targets.
The partnership between CIWM and WRAP is vital in helping to deliver this and shape a more sustainable future for the UK. CIWM looks forward to working closely alongside Catherine and the entire WRAP team to achieve these shared goals for our sector.
