WasteSmart
‘New and Improved version’
WasteSmart is specifically designed to help you consider resources and waste in everything you do, WasteSmart aims to equip employees and businesses with the understanding they need to lead the way to a world beyond waste.
Through practical case study examples and scenario-based activities, this interactive eLearning course will walk you through the underlying principles of effective waste management, explaining why recycling and reuse are better for the environment than disposal and incineration, and helping you understand that all waste has the potential to be a resource. The course breaks down the legal requirements around managing waste and describes how you can contribute to improving the management of waste and resources in the workplace.
WasteSmart is quick, accessible, and easy to action in the workplace. It offers practical, cost-effective guidance on improving resource use, cutting waste, complying with waste regulations and demonstrating your commitment to improved environmental performance.
The course is delivered via a 4-hour eLearning course.
Images, interactive elements, links and quizzes are used to help you understand the course content.
To ensure that information is up-to-date and accurate, this course has been developed with input from the waste industry, consultants with regulatory experience and experienced training professionals.
