CIWM has announced that its new online news media and knowledge platform, Circular Online, will launch on Monday 3 June.
Circular Online is a daily news and knowledge hub for professionals in the resources and waste sector and follows the launch of Circular magazine.
Circular Online will report on the latest and most important news in resources and waste and will present a platform for insight, exclusive online content and thought-leadership on topics such as resource efficiency, the circular economy, environmental policy and the wider sustainability agenda.
The website, which will supersede CIWM’s current news outlet, CIWM Journal Online, will offer a varied mixture of open and member-only content, making it an invaluable daily resource for all.
The website will also be home to the CIWM knowledge centre, a primarily member-only online library of technical resources, legislative and policy updates, guidance and best practice in the many sectors across the resources and waste industry.
Circular Online’sdigital editor, Darrel Moore, said: “Circular Online is dedicated to reporting the latest and most relevant daily news from across the resources sector, tying this into the wider sustainability and environmental agenda with exclusive features, opinion and thought-leadership, ensuring we bring you the full story.”
CEO of CIWM, Sarah Poulter, said: “Circular Online represents both the evolution of the resources sector and the evolution of CIWM. I’m proud of all that CIWM has achieved over its many years, and Circular Online represents the future as we all strive to adopt a more circular attitude and approach.
“I strongly encourage all of our members, and non-members alike, to make full use of this fantastic resource.”
