Join CIWM Scotland for our Spring Seminar, exploring the Sustainable Management of Problem Materials. 

Programme: 

09:15 - 10:00:   Registration, tea and coffees
10:00 - 10:30:   Regional Committee Round-up
10:30 - 12:30    Morning Session - what do we mean by problem materials, and why their sustainable management is important from both a global and a local perspective. Discussion on mattresses, textiles, small WEEE and more.
12:30 - 13:30    Lunch & networking 
13:30 - 14:40    Afternoon session - Issues and solutions for plastics, paper, batteries and soils and how barriers to sustainable material flows can be overcome.
14:40 - 14:50    Break
14:50 - 15:50    Workshop to identify future sector priorities for the new Government
