CIWM North West Centre would like to invite members to a site visit to MRF at Longley Lane, Manchester.

13:00- 13:30: CIWM NW AGM
13:30- 13:45: Presentation about MRF’s by Mohar
13:45 – 14:15: Discussion on Local Authority, MRFs, Commercial Collections, Extended Producer Responsibility/ Deposit Return Scheme, facilitated by Nick Fellow.
14:15 onwards: : Discussions and networking for CIWM members
Important information:
• Due to health and safety reasons, wheelchair users and individuals with a heart pacemaker have restricted access on site so please contact us prior to your visit date to allow us to make arrangements and plan an alternative route.
• PPE will be provided which includes a hi-vis vest, hearing protection, hard hat, safety glasses and gloves. It is essential that you arrive with suitable footwear and clothing for an industrial site visit. This includes having thick soled shoes with no open toes and feet fully covered (no bare skin on the feet). Legs must also be covered preferably by trousers but leggings or similar are acceptable.
