About this Event 
Join us for our joint IEMA & CIWM event on the 13th March in Rochdale. From sceptic to converted, Richard Hagan, the Managing Director of Crystal Doors Ltd in Rochdale, is quoted as being possibly “the Greenest Entrepreneur in the UK”. Richard will present Crystal Doors’ journey to become carbon neutral by 2022 through a combination of employee support, stakeholder engagement and adopting a circular economy strategy.

Sophie Walker, Co-founder of Dsposal will present on how the digitalisation of the industry can help everyone with their duty of care and why they are on a mission to improve the transparency of the waste supply chain, and CIWM Membership Development Executive Phil Tomlin will introduce CIWM and the benefits of joining them. 

The site tour will include viewing a range of environmental initiatives that have been implemented; such a Biomass Boiler to convert wood waste to energy. This will be followed by a complimentary lunch which will include vegetarian and vegan options.
