Biffa Broxburn Materials Recycling Facility (MRF) is designed to expertly sort and recycle feedstock waste efficiently.

Visitors will be shown how the MRF operates to cater for a range of materials from paper and card, plastic bottles and containers to aluminum and steels cans, with the recyclables being sorted through a mixture of manual, mechanical and optimised processes.

Details

On arrival, visitors should park within the marked visitor bays and follow the designated walkways to sign in at reception, where you will be met by your CIWM Coordinator and company staff.

Information

All visitors must bring their own PPE as the host cannot supply this. This should include safety shoes, a hard hat, hi-vis vest/jacket and safety glasses. Make sure to wear trousers on the day.

Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice of cancellation to the Coordinator if unable to attend.
