NI Centre Site Visit to Huhtamaki Paper Recycling
The CIWM Northern Ireland Centre invite you to visit the last remaining paper mill anywhere in Ireland.
This is owned and operated by Huhtamaki and is one of three Huhtamaki sites in Northern Ireland. At the mill in Lurgan, Huhtamaki manufactures moulded fibre packaging primarily for the egg industry. A variety of egg cartons and egg trays are produced here along with fast food cup carriers for most of the fast food restaurants such as McDonalds, KFC & Burger King.
The visit will involve a site tour along with a small presentation on the history and vision of Huhtamaki centring on the Lurgan plant.
