CIWM Cymru Wales Site Visit to
At Tarmac Ltd, Aberthaw Cement Works, Vale of Glamorgan
Aberthaw Cement works welcomes members of CIWM to our site to attend a presentation and site tour to give insight into the recent works undertaken to rectify historic issues with fugitive dust emissions and improving community engagement. It is also an opportunity to see the use of Solid Derived Fuel (SDF) in an appliance.

- Welcome and Introduction with tea and coffee on arrival. Presentation of Tarmac’s activities and site Plant tour Light lunch with Q&A session and networking The event is expected to finish by 3pm.

PPE Required:
Visitors will need to wear high visibility vest/coat (with long sleeves underneath if a vest), safety boots and gloves – please bring your own hard hats and glasses.

All cancellations MUST be sent in writing to celine.anouilh@ciwm.co.uk by 21st March noon for a full refund.
Delegates who do not show up on the day will be charged the full rate at the time of booking.
It may be necessary for reasons beyond the control of CIWM Cymru Wales to change the content and timing of the event. In the unlikely event of us having to cancel the event, CIWM Cymru Wales will make a full refund of the tickets but disclaim any further liability.
