Used Beverage Can Recycling Plant
Novelis is the leading producer of flat-rolled aluminum products and the world’s largest recycler of aluminum. We see tremendous opportunities in continuing to expand the use of lightweight, infinitely recyclable aluminum to help our customers achieve their sustainability goals and provide consumers the environmentally friendly products they enjoy. Novelis’ dedicated Used Beverage Can (UBC) recycling plant in Latchford, United Kingdom, has the capacity to recycle more than 195,000 metric tons of aluminum per year. There is also an automotive dismantling plant on site.

Agenda:
- Welcome and Introduction on arrival (no teas/coffees but water provided)
- Presentation of Novelis’ activities and site followed by a tour of the plant
- Question session
- The event is expected to finish at maximum 12:30pm
- No lunch will be provided and there is no facility on site for lunch.
PPE Required:
• Safety shoes (no sandals, no trainers, no heels)
• NO exposed jewellery allowed. Please use tape to cover up piercings (e.g. ear, nose etc.).
Hard hat, ear & eye protection, gloves, Hi-viz and visitor’s coat will be provided by Novelis. Please read the attached site safety sheet prior attendance.
Attendees need to read the SAFETY SHEET (please contact celine.anouilh@ciwm.co.uk to receive it) prior attending the visit.

Delegates who do not show up on the day will be charged the full rate at the time of booking.
It may be necessary for reasons beyond the control of CIWM Cymru Wales to change the content and timing of the event. In the unlikely event of us having to cancel the event, CIWM Cymru Wales will make a full refund of the tickets but disclaim any further liability.
