At Berry BPI Group’s Rhymney Facility

(Dry and Wash Polythene Film Recycling Facility)

Berry BPI Group has invited CIWM members to visit their Rhymney Facility which is home to a Berry Group BPI Group’s Dry and Wash Recycling Centre which reprocesses polythene waste (LDPE and HDPE) produced by the industrial, packaging and agriculture sectors. The visit will consist of a discussion session and a visit around the Rhymney Facility. This visit will provide an excellent opportunity to view an innovative polythene film recycling process which culminates in the re-introduction of the recycled polythene into the economy for re-use in a multitude of products, from packaging to furniture.

Parking:
Limited on-site parking is available at the Rhymney Facility; however, off-site parking is available. We encourage car sharing.
All visitors should report to the reception building to sign in

- Presentation of site, Q&A
- Tour around the facility
- The event is expected to finish by 16:00.
