CIWM LSC: Site Visit to URM Post MRF glass recycling and treatment plant

A tour of glass recycling and treatment plant at Tilbury Dock, operated by URM.

During the tour of the treatment plant, we will observe the raw cullet undergoing a number of processes to remove contamination from the cullet. Finally, the glass is separated by the machines into the three main colours.

Please Note: 
- Suitable clothing is required. The site is dusty, so clothing you don't mind having to wash when you leave site.
- High visibility vest or jacket and safety boots are required.  
- Quality face masks will be provided.
