The visit will explore how organic waste is processed, how biogas is captured and converted into energy, and how the resulting digestate is used as a sustainable fertiliser to support agriculture.
The tour will provide a valuable opportunity to see real-world AD operations in action, understand the environmental benefits of diverting food waste from landfill, and learn how AD supports decarbonisation, energy security, and sustainable land management.
