Important Note
The Finance Act 2010 included a new requirement that every charity must be able to satisfy HM Revenue & Customs that everyone involved in its general management and control are appropriate persons to undertake this responsibility – i.e. that they are "fit and proper" persons. Members of the CIWM Presidential Team become Trustees of CIWM and are therefore subject to these checks. Candidates can access a copy of the CIWM Fit and Proper Person declaration, and other relevant policies relevant to Trustee roles, on the CIWM website here. Candidates need to be aware that if successful in the election that they will be required to complete the above mentioned declaration which will be held securely by CIWM.
Candidates must be a Fellow of CIWM and their application should be supported by three individuals who are either CIWM Fellows or CIWM Trustees (General Councillors) or their Regional Committee (previously Centre Council).
All supporters need to give their permission for their name to be included on this form. Guidance on who can be a supporter of an application for Junior Vice President can be downloaded
