The Northern Ireland Centre of the Chartered Institution of Wastes Management is pleased to invite you and your colleagues to its 6th major Conference and Exhibition which will be held in the Chandelier Suite of the Slieve Donard Hotel, Newcastle.

Waste Management or increasingly as it is known, Resources Management, faces a challenging future with climate change and sustainable development hitting the headlines. The recycling and landfill targets of 2009 -10 and 2012 -13 are critical milestones for waste management in Northern Ireland. This conference hopes to provide you with an insight into how Northern Ireland plans to achieve these targets, looking at the procurement process, technology options available and communication needs. There will also be a session on current topical matters including WEEE and agricultural waste.

The exhibition will provide the opportunity for contractors and suppliers to display their waste management services and demonstrate their technology capabilities. As always, the conference will also provide the opportunity to network with a wide variety of professionals in the industry.
