The UK has missed the Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive's legal implementation deadline of 13 August 2005. Instead the Government has decided to implement the WEEE Directive's producer responsibility and retailer take-back obligations later in 2006, in order to ensure adequate collection infrastructure is in place This CIWM seminar will bring together all the key stakeholders to examine the forthcoming regulations and assess what progress is being made in the build up to delivering the directive's requirements.
