The WEEE Regulations – Be Prepared!

The UK has missed the Waste Electrical and Electronic (WEEE) Directive’s legal implementation deadline of 13th August 2005. Instead, the Government has decided to implement the WEEE Directive's producer responsibility and retailer take-back  obligations in  June 2006, in order to ensure an adequate collection infrastructure is in place. This CIWM seminar will bring together all the key stakeholders to examine the forthcoming Regulations and assess what progress is being made in the build up to delivering the Directive’s requirements.
