| Description | The London & Southern Counties New Generation Group is pleased to invite you to visit the SELCHP Energy Recovery Facility on Thursday 28th February 2008. The NGG have a fantastic opportunity to tour the site and find out more about the operations of the Energy Recovery Facility:
As part of the tour there will be presentations on the operation of the facility. The introductory presentation will focus on the SELCHP facility, followed by a second presentation later that day by Jarno Stet on landfill diversion and LATS.
This event is open to all CIWM members and non-members are encouraged to join if they attend with a Member. The number of delegate places is limited and in the event of over-booking, preference will be given to those new to the industry and/or younger CIWM members. We strongly advise you to book early to avoid disappointment. We have set a closing date for booking for 5pm Friday 22nd February 2008. This will count as 4 hours towards your SET/ CPD.
Car Park spaces on the site are limited and we will be travelling by public transport to the site. We will be meeting at South Bermondsey Train Station at 10am to walk to the site. The walk takes approximately 20 minutes. Registration at the site will commence at 10:30hrs. We envisage that following lunch and a Q&A session at the site, the event will close at approximately 1400hrs. Precise venue details and directions will be provided once your booking form has been received, and registration confirmed.
