Welcome to the Chartered Institution of Wastes Management the leading professional body for waste and resource management.

We have over 7,000 members, mostly in the UK but also in the Irish Republic and 250 members elsewhere in the world.  Our focus is on professionalism and information, based on sound science and training. 

If you have any queries regarding waste production and management, or regarding recycling reuse or waste prevention, CIWM should be your first port of call.
