How can local authorities help residents reduce food waste?
Date: 25th March 2021
Time: 10:00 - 11:00am
Wasted food accounts for 8-10% of total man-made greenhouse gas emissions and roughly one third of food produced around the world is wasted. This webinar will ask what more local authorities across the UK can do to help residents cut down on their food waste.
We will hear from a range of experts and speakers who will discuss strategies implemented across the UK and look at what the upcoming raft of policy measures set out by UK governments might mean for how councils can help cut household food waste.
You’ll have the opportunity to join the discussion by putting your questions to the panel.
