Statement about further restructuring at CIWM
CIWM is going through a period of change and restructure, and despite the best efforts of those involved it is with regret that Trustees have decided that the joint Executive Director arrangement was not an efficient way of working. It has therefore been decided that Sarah Poulter will take on the role of CEO. As a result of the restructure, the post of Deputy Chief Executive no longer exists and therefore, with reluctance, we must announce that Chris Murphy is leaving the CIWM.
We thank him for his long years of service to the Institution and the sector and we hope that there will be other opportunities for Chris and CIWM to work together in the future. We wish him luck in his endeavours.
Professor Margaret Bates, Chair of CIWM Executive Committee
