We’re excited to invite you to the webinar launch
of our ‘Professional Development Network’ which will support our members
who are early in their careers.
You, our members, asked us to undertake a review
of our current New Member Network. After extensive research, we are confident
that the PDN will deliver ‘Skills for the Future’ which are essential
to our sector.
If you are early in your career, the launch will
help you to understand how CIWM can support your professional development and
build lasting networks. For our more experienced members, we hope you will join
us to celebrate the launch as you will gather information to help you to
support your teams.

- Why our President, Dr. Adam Read, has championed sector ‘Skills for the Future’

PDN overview and purpose - Evonne Cannan MCIWM, PDN Principal Steering

Evonne will introduce the concept of the PDN,
outline the benefits and advise how you can be part of our new exciting network.
Skills and the next generation -
Dr. Adam Read FCIWM, CIWM President
Adam has committed his Presidential year to
championing building skills across our sector and will talk about the about the
importance of joining a network early in your career and how this has helped
him throughout his career.
Building key skills - Katie Cockburn, CIWM Professional
Services Director
Katie will advise how CIWM can support you to
build your skills, plan your future professional development and how to access support
from our Professional Service team.
Developing your
policy and technical knowledge - Ray Parmenter MCIWM, CIWM Head of Technical and Policy
Ray will talk about how you can gain an insight
into and contribute towards the work that our technical and policy team undertake
and how this can help increase your knowledge of our sector.
