The Chartered Institution of Wastes Management (CIWM),
Ireland Centre Council, is hosting an open event on the morning of the
25th October at the Red Cow Hotel.
A discussion forum entitled 'Producer Responsibility - Where to now?'
The forum will primarily be examining the challenges and
opportunities that the Irish producer responsibility sector is facing
with the Circular Economy Package (CEP) implementation, current market
challenges, BREXIT, Directive target revision, public perception and
behaviour changes and more…
Attendance is free on registration to CIWM
members with non-Members welcome from across the public and private
sectors of the waste industry with a nominal registration fee.
Representatives from the Producer Responsibility Organisations (PRO's) have been invited including Batteries, End of Life Tyres, End of Life Vehicles, Farm Films, Packaging and WEEE; to briefly present on the common and individual aspects of their waste stream and their vision for its future management.
