This is an organised facility tour of IPL Brightgreen plastics recycling facility, Castleford, West Yorkshire, followed by technical presentations by the host facility operator IPL Brightgreen, and industry speakers on the theme of plastic recycling in the circular economy.

Learning objectives:
- Understand the operational aspects of mechanically recycling post-consumer and commercial rigid and flexible plastic packaging
- Gain wider insight into the plastic recycling industry and the implications for Simpler Recycling
Please Note:
- You will be asked to provide dietary requirements upon booking. Lunch will be vegetarian for a lower carbon footprint but please provide any additional requirements.
- PPE must be worn (safety boots, hi-vis jacket or vest, hard hat or bump cap and safety glasses) - please bring your own wherever possible. If you do not own any of these items, you must request to borrow items and provide sizing in advance to ensure availability via events@ciwm.co.uk
