• Be aware of the legislative frameworks relating to transport operations including Operator Licence, Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC)(driver and transport manager CPC) and Dangerous Goods Safety Advisor requirements(DGSA)

• Explore good operator performance in relation to Occupational Road Risk, Driver CPC and vehicle checks


• Consider how to improve performance through use of Key Performance Indicators and recruitment etc.

(This course will be delivered in partnership with the Chartered Institute of logistics and Transport (CILT). The course will be delivered by Jeff Marsh (CMILT), CILT Head of Road Transport Training, who has 30 years of industry training experience, including 15 years as a college lecturer. In an interactive style, delegates will be encouraged to share experiences, which will enable reinforcement of best practices throughout the day.
