The four Black Country Local Authorities (Dudley, Sandwell, Walsall & Wolverhampton) are working together to produce a Black Country Core Strategy. This sets out the vision, objectives and strategy for future development in the area up to 2026.

They have produced a 'Core Strategy Issues & Options' document which sets out the issues facing the Black Country and proposes options for the Core Strategy to address those issues.

The consultation on the document runs from 29th June to 10th August 2007, and copies can be downloaded from the website at http://blackcountrycorestrategy.dudley.gov.uk or can be viewed at the Local Authorities' Council Offices and main libraries.
