PAS 100 Excluded Compost Workshop

The workshop is the second in a series organised by CIWM and the Grantscape project: Market Development of Composts Derived from Different Organic Waste Streams.  Delegates at the first workshop asked for a follow-up event with more time for delegates to debate and discuss the use of these materials.  This second workshop is intended to provide a platform for these more detailed debates.

The aims of this workshop are to explore
1. How to move forward with standards and benchmarks for PAS 100 excluded composts and digestates, suggested general principles
2. How to assess what is sustainable and beneficial use of PAS 100 excluded composts and digestates suggested general principles
3. Market information for PAS 100 excluded composts and digestates
4. To establish the value of an “industry” approach or viewpoint on standards /benchmark development
