Energy from Waste in Wales 2008
Venue: All Nations Centre, Cardiff
"Wales hopes to achieve self-sufficiency in renewable energy within 20 years and this year's Energy from Waste in Wales conference looks at the Welsh Assembly Government's current strategy to achieve this goal. It also examines the difficulties of obtaining both the planning consents and financing required for future developments and the importance of gaining public support for new installations and technologies.

The conference showcases several methods of disposal from incineration to the production of hydrogen fuel, the production of combined heat and power from waste and the assessment of both large and small units for providing a stable, secure and constant fuel supply.
