Do you work for, or work with a waste management facility? Do you need to have a more in-depth knowledge of waste legislation?
This course provides an understanding of the main areas of legislation and can also be used as underpinning knowledge for waste NVQs.

• Be aware of the main elements of the Environmental Protection Act 1990 and the Environment Act 1995, and Hazardous Waste Regulations 2005
• Understand the basic elements of the waste management licensing provisions and PPC regulations

• Understand the relevant provisions of the Health & Safety at Work Act.
