| Description | The London & Southern Counties New Generation Group is pleased to invite you to attend a Street Scene Event on Friday 25th April 2008 at the City of Westminster. NGG members have a fantastic opportunity to participate in an event focussing on street cleansing and to find out more about the operations of the City of Westminster Cleansing Department and the impact of the 24hour economy on its operations:
As part of the event there will be afternoon presentations on the subjects of street cleansing, partnership working and Local Environment Quality from representatives of the City of Westminster, Encams and Veolia.
Following an early evening buffet we will also be embarking upon a walking tour of the West End to observe the cleansing operations that keep Westminster clean 24/7. Along the route there will be commentary by Jarno Stet and Mitch Matthews-Dublin on various Street Scene issues.
