| Description | CIWM are delighted to announce a Study Tour to the Republic of Ireland on Thursday 18th and Friday 19th October. This tour jointly organised by the North East and Republic of Ireland Centres, in conjunction with Enterprise Ireland (The Irish State Development Agency), will showcase some of the emerging waste technologies and processes which have been developed and implemented in Ireland over recent years. With a highly topical and varied programme this 2 day tour will include in vessel composting systems, energy and waste recovery technologies, MRF separation technologies, On board weighing systems and technologies, and WEEE processing and recovery technologies. These technologies and systems will be showcased through both formal presentations and a variety of on site visits.
This study tour can accommodate a maximum of 20 people, and due to the extremely generous support of Enterprise Ireland is offered at a highly competitive cost per person. Attendees will fly from Manchester to Waterford Airport on the evening of Wednesday October 17th to meet for dinner and drinks. The Study Tour will take place on Thursday and Friday concluding at a location close to Dublin Airport to allow attendees easy access to flights home on Friday evening, or alternatively the option of staying in Dublin over the following weekend to explore the delights and attractions of this fantastic city.
