Friday 19th October 2007 This year marks the Centenary of the London & Southern Counties Centre of the Chartered Institution of Wastes Management and the Centre Council has been pleased to organise a series of celebration events. The first two of these “The Great Waste Debate” and “The Great Waste Cruise” have been outstanding successes and we are confident that “The Great Waste Seminar” will maintain the high standard.
We have assembled a first class team of speakers to take us through the history of waste management in London from the early 19th Century right through the 20th and way beyond into what might happen in the 22nd Century. This seminar will include your opportunity to take part in an open discussion forum in the excellent setting of the City of London’s new offices at Walbrook Wharf.
At the close of the seminar, delegates will take the short walk to the magnificent Innholders’ Hall, the home of The Worshipful Company of Innholders since 1521, for a drinks reception followed by a four course dinner, accompanied by fine wines and liqueurs.
