Governance

CIWM is justifiably proud of being a well-managed registered charity operating under a Royal Charter. The Trustees are quite clear - that the Institution should operate "beyond reproach" and that it will comply fully with all of its responsibilities.

The table below shows who? in the Institution needs to do what? to shoulder those responsibilities. In governance terms these are "relevant persons". Details on what to do and how to do them is covered in the other options in the Quick Links on this page.

These are all important steps in CIWM showing excellent governance. Don’t be put-off, in practice they are all simple and the Head Office team will help you if you need it.
All CIWM Members are relevant to what we do. All volunteers - in whatever form - are the lifeblood of the Institution. But some volunteers are part of CIWM showing a "clean pair of hands" and this section is for them.
