Scottish Waste & Resources Awards Dinner

Welcome to the SWRC Awards 2011. Led by a project team consisting of leading professional bodies, the steering group ensures the event is a one stop shop for individuals and organisations, keeping them ahead of critical factors influencing the industry today. The awards recognise outstanding achievements in the waste and resource sector in Scotland and the categories have been designed to reflect the widening sustainability agenda faced by all sectors. They offer an opportunity for the public, private and community sector to gain national recognition for the advances they have played a significant role in. The awards are presented at the Scottish Waste and Resources Conference Dinner which is held on the last night of the event. Last year the dinner was attended by almost 400 people and the guest list included leading figures from local authorities, regulators and private and public sector organisations.
