Dear CIWM Member
We are delighted to launch this year’s Wales LARAC Conference – it will take place on 12 July at Maesmawr Hall Hotel, Caersws, SY17 5SB in Powys, as usual.
You will see we are on a very tight timescale, so I recommend you get your booking in with us as soon as you can.
We are hoping for a lively day – the programme isn’t quite finalised yet, but in response to your feedback last year we will be looking at the following topics:
- Food waste collections and related communications campaigns
- Three-weekly collections
- Service changes and cost savings
- Work on Reuse
- What can we learn from our Scottish compatriots?
- Tackling harder to recycle materials
Registration will begin at 9.00 am for a 9.30 start and we will be finishing at 3.00pm.
This year again, we offer 10 places to CIWM Members on a first come first served basis.
If you work for a local authority, please check with your manager prior booking, that a place hasn't been reserved for you already. Thank you.
Let us know in your booking if you have any dietary requirements, or if you need Welsh translation.
