NGG Seminar Session "Local Authority Collection Systems"

The seminar provided an introduction to some of the different types of waste and recycling collection systems in use by local authorities. Speakers highlighted the difficult balance that needs to be maintained between delivering an easy to use service that achieves high participation rates and customer satisfaction levels, with the increasing challenges of meeting targets and keeping within a tight budget.
