The best way of doing that was visit to Rugby, where two Azuras have been working for several months, together with a new model Scarab Minor and a DAF-based 6.2m3 hopper volume Merlin truck-mounted sweeper, to see for myself.
One of the biggest issues Rugby has is its crumbling industrial past, mixed in with several rambling 1960s and 70s housing estates which, if not actually “crumbling”, are already past their best. In other words, what were once seen as modern solutions, are now challenges in terms of dealing with graffiti, litter and essentially doing all that is possible to prevent them becoming even more run-down. |
