Show Leads to Sales Success For Refuse Vehicle Solutions

30 September 2011

Re-manufacturing specialists, Refuse Vehicle Solutions (RVS), are experiencing their busiest month ever with enquiries and sales flooding in, as a result of their presence at the RWM in partnership with CIWM exhibition earlier this month

RVS specialises in re-manufacturing refuse vehicles to the same specification and quality as new vehicles direct from the manufacturers, for 40 percent less cost on average.

Spencer Law, managing director, RVS said: "We've had orders for 10 trucks and still counting, as a result of people visiting our stand at the show. Even the vehicle we were showcasing has gone."

RVS' superbly presented re-manufactured 6x2 Dennis Eagle chassis with Elite body and Terberg OmniDel bin lift, was a talking point at the show.

Added Spencer: "We are confident that our re-manufactured vehicles are as good as new, and we go to great lengths to make sure that they stand the test of time. We help private contractors and local authorities get more value for money out of their fleets."

Andy Collett, owner of Collett Transport Services Ltd (CTS), one of the industry's leading vehicle hire companies, was so impressed with the vehicle on display at the show that he decided to buy it.

Andy said: "I could see immediately that the quality of the vehicle was of a superior standard, and it was clear that a lot of time and effort had been spent on it. I've ordered two more vehicles of the identical specification."

RVS are already looking forward to attending the show next year.

CIWM chief executive Steve Lee commented: "We are delighted with the feedback we have had from many exhibitors at this first RWM in partnership with CIWM Exhibition, and are very pleased that Refuse Vehicle Solutions had such a successful show.

"With over 13,000 visitors all the indications are that the merger was the right move for our sector."
