CIWM Past President Jack Skitt MBE passed away last Tuesday. At 91 years old Jack had become quite frail this year and collapsed quite suddenly last week at home. He died soon after surrounded by family
Jack had been a member of the Institution since 1950 becoming a Fellow in 1964 and had written several books on the Waste Management Industry.
His family have announced that they are having a quiet crematorium ceremony this Thursday (29 July) but are arranging a Thanksgiving Service to be held at Reigate Park United Reformed Church, Park Lane East, Reigate, Surrey RH2 8BD on Saturday September 3rd at 2.30pm.
