New Technology To Improve UK Council Environmental Services

12 November 2010

Whitespace is launching its new Power Suite Regulatory and Environmental software range for UK Local Authorities. The new applications are designed to significantly simplify the operations of Councils' regulatory and environmental services and help them deliver these to a best practice level. The technology is also said to ensure that environmental operations are conducted more efficiently - with increased revenue collection and major cost savings.

The new Power Suite applications support a range of operations including Abandoned Vehicles, Enforcement, StreetScene, Grounds, Trees, Environmental Health, Trading Standards, Licensing, Pest Control, Statutory Nuisance, Food Safety, Health & Safety and Private Sector Housing.

Nigel Bridges, MD at Whitespace Whitespace said: "Councils are under huge pressure to reduce the complexity and increase the effectiveness of their environmental operations - whilst saving money. With our extended regulatory and environmental application, Councils can make significant savings by improving the efficiency of their operations, reducing the overall cost of IT ownership and become far more 'joined up' across their range of environmental services, becoming greener whilst doing it."
